The writing framework that saved me from AI mediocrity

Last week, I shared Part 1 of my Authentic Copywriting Template and why most copywriting makes conscious entrepreneurs feel like they need a spiritual cleanse after every launch:

The response was... intense.

Messages flooded in from creators who'd been caught in the same impossible choice: write like a used car salesman or stay beautifully broke.

People sharing their own stories of copy that made them cringe, launches that felt like selling their souls, marketing that worked but left them hollow.

But what surprised me most was that almost everyone asked the same follow-up question.

“Okay, I get the philosophy. But what do I actually DO? Where's the template?”

Philosophy without practice is just spiritual bypassing with better vocabulary.

So today, I'm sharing the actual framework.

The 12-step structure I use for every landing page, email sequence, and offer.

The breakdown of exactly how I wrote that launch that felt like art but converted like science.

But first, let's talk about the elephant in the room: AI.

The Promise and the Trap

Everyone's using ChatGPT (or Claude or Gemini etc) to write their copy now. Which is... well, it's complicated.

On one hand, AI can be brilliant. It can help you brainstorm angles you'd never considered, expand on ideas when you're stuck, and speed up the boring parts of copywriting so you can focus on the stuff that actually matters.

On the other hand, most people are using AI like they're asking their GPS for life advice—technically helpful, but completely missing the point.

I watched a friend spend three hours “optimizing” her sales page with AI. And so it was a copy so polished and generic it could have been selling vacuum cleaners or life coaching with equal enthusiasm. She launched and what followed was crickets.

When I asked her what happened, she said, “I don't know. The AI said it would work.”

They feed it some generic prompt about “writing compelling copy for my coaching business” and get back something that sounds like it was written by a robot who learned persuasion from a 1990s commercial.

But when you know how to work WITH AI instead of letting it work FOR you? That's when magic happens.

The Art of Artificial Intelligence

Think of AI like a really smart intern who's read every copywriting book ever written but has never actually lived a day in the real world.

It knows all the frameworks. It can spot patterns. It can generate ideas faster than you can type them.

But it doesn't know which ideas are actually worth pursuing. It doesn't understand the difference between clever copy and copy that creates genuine connection. It can't tell the difference between a hook that grabs attention and a hook that grabs the right attention.

AI doesn't know your story. It doesn't understand that the specific way you stumbled through your own transformation is exactly what makes your approach unique.

It can't capture the particular language your ideal clients use when they're texting their best friend at midnight about the thing they're too scared to say out loud.

It doesn't know that your biggest “failure” is actually your most powerful credential.

Last month, a client showed me copy she'd generated entirely with AI. It was... fine. Technically correct. Completely forgettable.

“But it checked all the boxes,” she said.

“Yeah,” I replied, “but would you want to have coffee with the person who wrote this?”

Long pause.

“Not really.”

That's the problem. AI can check boxes, but it can't create connection.

That's where you come in.

Your job isn't to be replaced by AI. It's to become fluent in both languages—the language of authentic human experience and the language of strategic communication—so you can use AI as a translator between the two (and save yourself time).

The template I'm sharing today does exactly that. It gives you the structure to channel your authentic voice into copy that converts, while showing you exactly how to prompt AI to enhance (not replace) your unique perspective.

What You'll Get Today

In my first post, I shared the philosophy behind authentic copywriting:

how I write copy that converts without selling my soul

how I write copy that converts without selling my soul

Today, you get the practice (part 2):

  1. The 12-Step Landing Page Structure that works whether you're launching a $97 course or a $5,000 mastermind. We’re not stuck in theory here — it's the exact template I've used for launches that felt like writing love letters to future clients.

  2. The AI Integration Guide that shows you how to prompt AI tools to enhance your authentic voice instead of burying it under generic marketing speak. Including the specific prompts I use to brainstorm angles, overcome writer's block, and refine copy without losing my soul.

  3. A Complete Copy Breakdown of one of my successful launches—not just what I wrote, but why I wrote it that way. You'll see exactly how each section builds on the last, how I address objections before they arise, and how I use storytelling to create connection instead of manipulation.

  4. The Continuous Improvement System that turns every launch into data for making your next piece of copy even better. Because authenticity isn't about a single end result—it's a process to fall in love with.

We're not here to turn you into some copywriting machine.

We're here to help you translate your truth into language that actually reaches the people who need to hear it.

Right now, the internet is drowning in copy that sounds like it was written by the same three AI prompts.

What it's starving for is copy that sounds like you—messy, imperfect, beautifully human you—but structured in a way that actually serves both you and your people.

I've made every mistake in the book. Written copy that made me want to hide under a rock. Launched things that flopped spectacularly. Spent way too much money learning what doesn't work.

This template is my attempt to save you some of that pain.

If you're ready to stop choosing between authenticity and effectiveness, let's keep building something that honors both.

Alright, ready? Let’s dive in.
