Beautiful Nik, thanks for the good read. Deeply resonates with my own journey over the past couple of years. Finding my way back to something that feels true to me and nobody else. Your course played a huge part in that. Not because it suddenly answered questions I hadn't already asked myself before, but because it gave me perspective and clarity on the fact that I can indeed make this work out. And that's a whole lot, isn't it?

Excited to hear more about your continuous journey.

Followed your work for awhile. Love this exploration of something beyond "productivity". There's something very real and powerful in our own ordinary living.

To use a phrase inappropriate for this post—you’re “on the money” with this one, man. I’m thrilled to see Kingsnorth quoted throughout. I’m also reading his good friend McGilchrist atm.

haven't read his work. what's it about?

how modern life is ruled by the narrow, mechanical mode of attention (left hemisphere) that blinds us to depth/meaning/lived reality (right hemisphere). And it starts with shifting attention and perception.

Whatever you do, Nik, keep writing. A thousand words is worth at least a picture.

I live in Cyprus that’s also a little “old school” in their ways.

And there’s something so beautiful about going down to the store, getting hand crafted goods, honey straight out of the pot, yoghurt from the farm, etc.

We recently planted a pomelo tree in our garden and spending time just watering it and caring for what’s there and “being”… makes you forget this “self-built” hamster wheel.

You write so unapologetically man. Was a pleasure to read.
